Since having started LANTRAX™ in 2003, Rod has grown his business from two people, in a spare bedroom, to a multi-million dollar company with 17 employees operating out of an 11,000 square foot warehouse facility in Port Kells.
A go-getter and team player, Rod is dedicated to providing worry-free delivery, anywhere, with a team of individuals he has carefully hand-picked for their expertise and customer service skills. Bob, Director – Business Development

A temporary summer job driving a delivery truck out of high school turned into a 30 year career of building loads, unloading, shipping and scheduling logistics for Bob. In May 2005, Bob joined Lantrax as an agent and brought with him similar passions and skill sets given he coached his son’s hockey teams for over 10 years, volunteered in the community and worked for various trucking companies.
Working as a broker, overseeing Lantrax’s boutique warehouse as well as being in the positions of sales and marketing at Lantrax, Bob became a company partner in 2009. He knows all aspects of the business of transportation logistics to help your business with over-the-road truck and intermodal freight services. Outside Lantrax, Bob is a devoted family man and stays active at the gym so he can keep up with his five grandchildren.

Alison is an accounting professional with extensive experience in Financial Reporting, Administration, Process Improvement, Compliance and Sales Support in B2B. Alison brings wide-ranging experience to our Team having worked as the Senior Accountant at a distribution organization that supplied 30 franchised retail outlets and for 26 years as the Controller & Administration Manger for the Canadian head office of an international marine and industrial equipment manufacturer and supplier.
The addition of Alison to the Lantrax™ Team increases our professionalism, one of our Core Values, substantially.
Tammy, Human Resources Manager

Tammy served as our Administrative Manager since she joined the Lantrax™ team in February 2007 and as a result of our continued growth, has recently taken on the very important role of Human Resources Manager. Tammy earned a Business Education Diploma in Saskatoon SK and her Life Coaching Certificate from The Life Coaching Group in New York and has extensive business and office experience. As the Human Resources Manager, Tammy is responsible for managing all aspects of HR and payroll.
Tammy believes we can always better our best and she applies this both to herself and the company. In her off time, she enjoys travelling, visiting her family and being outdoors particularly hiking and kayaking BCs hills and shores.
Bryan, General Manager

Having started at LANTRAX™ in 2009, Bryan has experience in sales, brokerage, and operations management. As General Manager, Bryan brings with him hands-on experience and an education in Marketing Management with KPU along with the TIA’s (Transportation Intermediaries Association) Freight Broker Course. Bryan also regularly participates in training in Sales, Human Resources and Business Leadership through a private Business Coach.

Andrea, Service Advisor – Team Leader

Andrea graduated from BCIT with a Business Diploma in Marketing and Sales. While in a sales and marketing position with a regional carrier, Andrea slowly transitioned from marketing to being a broker. Andrea thrives on problem-solving and challenges and knows how to manage her time and work well in a team environment.
Having joined the Lantrax team in January 2011, Andrea prefers brokering goods and services worldwide while staying on top of trends and the economy as it affects the movement of products by land, sea and air.
When not overseeing her team of Service Advisors, you’ll find Andrea running with a core group of devoted runners. She has the stamina to do half-marathons and oversees a co-ed, slo-pitch softball team in the Township. Is she competitive? You bet! And, it’s why you want her in your corner – negotiating the best shipment method for your products.
Shelley, Service Advisor – Team Leader

Shelley has over 22 years’ experience in freight management including the past 12 years in freight logistics and brokerage. Prior to joining Lantrax in May 2010, Shelley owned and operated her own independent freight brokerage.
Shelley’s attention to detail, integrity and problem-solving skills, combined with her vast transportation system knowledge, make her an ideal Team Leader. You can count on Shelley to negotiate the best rate and service available on all your freight movements.
When not in the office, Shelley prefers to be in nature and near the water. Kayaking is her newest passion.
Sean G, Service Advisor

Sean joined Lantrax in January 2012, bringing with him a Certificate from BCITs International Trade and Transportation Program along with years of industry experience. While an Import/Export Agent, Sean specialized in moving BC grown perishables throughout the world via air and truck, and he gained valuable experience from being a Highway Dispatcher for a Lower Mainland based trucking company.
Outside of work, you name the sport and Sean is your guy. Baseball, however, is his favourite sport since he’s been playing the game since he was five. Sean enjoys hanging out with his kids, being with friends and the mixed fastball league that he has been playing on for the last 12 years.
Sean P, Service Advisor

Before joining Lantrax, Sean Ploss worked as a North American ground freight logistics coordinator for a couple large freight forwarders and brokers. Having learned on the job, Sean soon specialized in the logistics of full and partial loads on flatbeds as well as arranging for freight to be moved cross border and north into the oil patch.
Sean is known as “Sean P” as there’s another Service Advisor by the same name and spelling. What are the odds? At Lantrax, Sean enjoys sourcing the best mode of transportation for his customers and following through. He takes great satisfaction and pride when he delivers what he promised for his clients.
As a father of a young family, Sean enjoys sharing his love of being outdoors, hiking and gardening with his kids and revels in the time when he finds to play hockey or a game of golf.

Kevin joins the Lantrax Team after a couple of years working for a regional LTL carrier in customer service and the spot quote department. He brings a tremendous amount of regional LTL knowledge to the Team.
Everywhere Kevin has been employed he has been recognized for his keen customer service skills and “can do” attitude. A self-motivated and enthusiastic worker, Kevin goes above and beyond at all times to ensure the greatest customer experience.
Cindy, Admin Support

At Lantrax, Cindy is the person to speak to about your accounts receivables including credit authorization and setting up a new account. Cindy went back to school and took the Accounting and Payroll Administration course from CDI College later in her career to make a better life for her family. Having worked in billing and payroll in past positions, she had no formal training. To her credit, and hard work, Cindy passed the CDI diploma program with honours.
When not working, Cindy enjoys the company of friends and family and cooking a home-cooked meal for everyone to enjoy.
Erik, Warehouse Supervisor
Erik joined the Lantrax Team in March 2016. He brings over a decade of warehouse, customer service and logistics expertise to our Team.
Erik has proven to be diligent and detail oriented which is exactly the individual you want managing your inventory and fulfilment needs.

SHAYLA, Service Advisor

Shayla joins the Lantrax™ Team with over ten years of Customer Service experience including 4 in the asset based trucking industry. Shayla managed a temperature controlled warehouse facility in Langley and then moved to the Regional Dispatch position where she was responsible for planning trips for the regional drivers, providing quotes for service and administering freight forwarding services using interline carriers.
Shayla’s extensive experience has made her a valuable member of the Team and a preferred Service Advisor to both our existing clients and new clients who count on her for Professional “Worry-Free Delivery™” throughout North America.
DENISE, Operations Support & Customer Service

Denise comes to the Lantrax™ Team with significant transportation expertise spanning the past two decades. Her Customer Service skills ensured that her past employer developed strong business relationships with demanding, national and international customers such as Sobeys, Loblaws and Fitness Depot. Denise supervised 35 customer service representatives for a large USA LTL carrier ensuring service standards were met, monitoring freight movements and providing liaison with U.S. and Canada customs.

DAWN, Operations Support & Claims Coordinator

Prior to joining the Lantrax Team, Dawn experienced transportation from the user side of the equation as a shipper and receiver, culminating as the Inventory and Customs Compliance coordinator for one of Canada’s largest truck accessory distribution warehouses.
Dawn’s responsibilities included, among many other duties, freight booking and tracing, invoice auditing and customs clearance issue resolution. Dawn knows from experience what great customer service looks and feels like.
