Employee Spotlight: Francisca Ruiz

This month, we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Francisca, a dedicated and highly skilled member of our accounting team whose experience and professionalism are second to none.

Originally from Makati City in the Philippines, Francisca is a seasoned Accountant who has continued her education in both the United States and Canada. Her transportation career began in the U.S. territories of Guam and Saipan, where she spent 13 years as Chief Accountant for an IATA agent representing major airlines such as Continental, Northwest, Japan, and Korean Airlines.

In 2001, Francisca and her family moved to Canada, where she continued her accounting journey in West Vancouver before joining PwC in 2006. Since then, she has expanded her expertise into the manufacturing and service industries, eventually returning to the transportation sector where she has spent the past decade supporting operations in warehousing, trucking, and logistics.

Outside of work, Francisca dedicates her time to giving back to the community—volunteering with tax shelters through the CRA, DARE BC, and the PICPA Vancouver chapter, where she mentors newly migrated professionals. When she’s not crunching numbers, you can find her enjoying Zumba, walking, or hitting the trails.

Francisca’s extensive experience, leadership, and unwavering commitment make her an integral part of Lantrax’s success. We’re incredibly grateful for all that she brings to the team each and every day!
