In 2003, Rod Wainwright founded Lantrax Logistics with a clear, singular vision: to eliminate the headaches and unpredictability from North American freight forwarding. Operating as a strategic, non-asset-based third-party logistics (3PL) provider, Lantrax stood apart by introducing an Assured Service Guarantee and a dedication to Worry-Free Delivery™.

Instead of just trying to fill a fleet of trucks, Lantrax acted as a dedicated consultant—vetting, negotiating, and coordinating with an elite network that grew to over 20,000 carriers. The focus was simple: put the customer’s needs first, select the exact right equipment for the job, and handle the cross-border complexities so clients could focus entirely on growing their businesses.

    2003 – 2005: The Foundation & Early Growth

    Lantrax is founded by Rod Wainwright with a core mission: providing exceptional, customer-focused, worry-free delivery.

    • Moved to a larger, expanded office space in downtown Langley to accommodate early growth.

    • Kevin joins the team as our sole IT employee, building the technical infrastructure that set us up for a digital future.

    • Bob joins the team as a partner, beginning a dedicated 21-year journey with the company.

    2008 – 2009: Celebrating Five Years & Consistent Growth

    Marking a half-decade of consistent logistics service and setting the stage for the next chapter of leadership.

    • Celebrated 5 years of successful business operations.

    • Bryan joins the team, stepping into a role that would ultimately shape the future presidency of the company.

    2010 – 2015: Expanding the Team & Warehouse Operations

    A foundational era of team growth and the official launch of our warehousing capabilities.

    • Welcomed long-standing team members Shelley, Meg, Andrea, Sean, and Erica.

    • Relocated to our first large facility featuring a dedicated on-site warehouse, significantly expanding our service offerings.

    2016 – 2017: Investing in Assets & Industry Expertise

    Bridging the gap between logistics management and asset-based transportation.

    • Erik, Shayla, and Henrique join the growing team.

    • Broadened our shipping capabilities with the launch of a dedicated Global Air & Ocean Division, connecting our clients to international supply chains.

    • Acquired Posse Trucking, establishing a dedicated, asset-based division of Lantrax to offer clients even greater control and reliability.

    2018 – 2020: Compliance, Certification, and New Ventures

    Elevating our safety standards and diversifying our industry footprint.

    • Mike, Diana, Baljit, Francisca, and Simran join the team.

    • Achieved official COR certification, reinforcing our commitment to workplace safety.

    • WCC is officially founded, further broadening our scope.

    Passing the torch to new leadership while aggressively expanding our physical footprint and safety programs.

    • Rod retires, and Bryan steps into his current role as President.

    • Acquired Glacier and moved into our second warehouse facility.

    • Moved into a secure yard equipped with an indoor storage shed.

    • Welcomed Josefina, Sasha, Sue, Joe, Mags, and Rob to the team.

    • Robert Dike joins as Safety Officer, building a robust, top-tier safety rating for both Lantrax and Posse.

    • Actively expanding the Posse fleet with brand-new trucks to meet growing demand.
